You may see the following error for your WordPress website:

Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

The error is usually a result of either a wrong PHP extension selected or your WordPress being on an older version which is not compatible with the PHP version that you select.

Firstly, head over to cPanel > Select PHP Version > Extensions page and click the Reset to default button. This action ensures that you're using the recommended PHP extensions for our server environment.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, our Managed WordPress Cloud or Hypercharged Cloud Hosting plan allows you to change to an older PHP version which should be compatible with your WordPress version.
